 e II EMOciutats event established a strategic space for reflection and act
 ion to promote emotional well-being at the local level. Organized jointly 
 by the Barcelona Provincial Council and the International Network for Emot
 ional Education and Well-being (RIEEB)\, they brought together political l
 eaders\, professionals\, academic experts\, and municipalities committed t
 o a community-oriented perspective on emotional health. For two days\, one
  of the major current challenges was addressed: how to build cities that p
 romote coexistence\, social cohesion\, and emotional balance throughout th
 e entire life cycle. Program Key ideas Municipal experiences A community a
 nd intersectional approach The inaugural presentation\, led by Dr. Rafael 
 Bisquerra\, positioned emotional education as a structural response to cur
 rent social needs\, from a perspective of emotional competencies and publi
 c health. The round tables delved into: Environments that promote emotiona
 l balance & coexistence. Inclusive and welcoming cities of diversity. Well
 -being generating communities. It focused on the social determinants of me
 ntal health\, the importance of quality relationships\, the genuine partic
 ipation of children and youth\, the gender and intersectional perspective 
 and the need to strengthen community ties and belonging. The second day fe
 atured municipal experiences that are already generating real impact on ch
 ildren\, youth and the community\, demonstrating that emotional well-being
  can be addressed through coordinated local action. Among the main conclus
 ions\, the importance of emotional competencies\, prevention\, networking
